We were so wrong!

I was reflecting on the remarkable growth Wild Bird has experienced in the past year.

Our Weekend Food Bag Program started 2025 with a record number of schools and bags, and after seven years, we were thinking we were finally near the top of where the need was in Whatcom County. But we were so wrong!

Current numbers:
January 2025 - 30 schools, 884 bags.
January 2026 - 49 schools, 1346 bags. A 66% increase!
